The band was formed around year 2006 in Ternopil Ukraine.
In 2009 Orthodox arrives at Hertz Studio and finally starts full-blown recording. The release date of the album was delayed to early 2011 and after that there was forced brake in activity.Orthodox was restored in 2013 with new members. In 2017 Orthodox was renamed Karpathian Relict
